The Host

I finished Eclipse waaaaay to long ago and have been going crazy for the next one! So on Mother's day Ben, um i mean Ryleigh ;-),  bought me (along with my iPhone) The Host, another glorious Stephanie Meyer creation. I finished it like two weeks ago and I have been trying to talk about it with other people but I can't find anyone else who has finished it. Any of you out there?? I really liked it and was surprised at how different it was from the author's other work. It was a little strange because the main love interest, I guess the Edward equivalent, was named Jared which is my little brother's name sooo..... Anyways I thought it was fantastic. Not as good as the Twilight series but lets be honest no fictional character can compare to the Edward I have created in my head. Any other opinions??

23 weeks!

For the record I am still alive. So much has happened in the last few weeks!!  For one we finally rented our house! We are so happy to have it rented out but we will definitely miss our old ward. Ben and I loved our callings in the young men and young women. We are now living at Ben's brothers house on Crismon and University. Its a little far but its not bad because the 202 comes right by us and takes us anywhere. I am now 26 weeks along and am definitely getting bigger! This picture is from 23 weeks because I have some catching up to do. I will take more recent ones soon. This little one is definitely more active then Ryleigh was. She NEVER stops kicking me! Its way fun.. except when I am trying to sleep! As far as the summer goes I am just going to be growing this little one and taking care of Ry. Ben will be working, as far as where we aren't to sure. He has some opportunities at the hospital that he will be taking advantage of for the summer but he needs a night job that he can do once school starts in the fall. Anyone have any ideas?!? We are sad he has to leave Adair Plumbing; it was a great job and they treated us great. It just isn't right for Ben anymore. Change is good, a little scary, but good!Not my favorite picture but my camera died and the charger is packed away some where!! PS. I cut my hair off! I love it :-)

ITS A GIRL!

Well I took a poll via facebook and 100% of the internet population believed I was carrying a little boy... The only person unconvinced was my hubby. And of course, Ben was right! We are SO excited! Ryleigh will love having a little sister just like Mal does ;-) The only problem is I have no girl names! It was hard enough coming up with Ryleigh and that was Ben's idea. I have some serious brain storming to do in the next 4 months. Here are some pictures of the little princess. She looks like me I swear! Ben thinks I am crazy but she has round cheeks and a squished nose like me I can tell!

This is the picture showing its a girl. To be honest I dont really see much besides a spine but I guess I should trust the doc... He is AlMoSt always right.

Grrr...

So I went to the doctor for THE ultrasound and......I STILL DONT KNOW!! My little pal decided to curl up in a ball and cross its legs and put its foot right in front of where we wanted to see! Only 1 lb and already a stubborn Nikolaus... Good news is, however, Dr. Tutt is letting me come back in 2 weeks instead of a month so a week from Wednesday we will try again. If it doesn't work then, I am going to fetal foto! Its one of those 3D places which at this point sounds really appealing. I am waaaaay to impatient! So thats the news and the reason there hasn't been any pink or blue posts! Wish me luck in 10 days!

18 Weeks!

Im not sure why I take pictures half way through the month but... anyways it has been 4 weeks since the last picture so here is a new one! I am not 18 weeks and can DEFINITELY feel my little one squirming around in there! Today is a super exciting day because I get to find out if I have a little guy or girl! There will be a seperate post for that one. There have been so many people who don't want to find out until their baby's birth. I am NOT one of those people. I can't stand the suspense and the pressure of finding 2 names and not being able to "nest" completely. Hats off to those who can! Ryleigh is loving the fact there is a baby in my tummy. She talks to it and gives it kisses and even brings it a little bottle from her doll. She is so much fun and I am so excited to have another one! I can't even explain the joy and blessings that come from watching and teaching your children. If you have some you already know ;-)

Okay so its finally here. The second trimester! Im finally 14 weeks. The phase where I look like I had a real big lunch or stopped going to the gym. I love it though because at least I know why I am looking a little pudgy :-) Ryleigh has started to point at my belly and say "baby!" I know she is going to be the best big sister. She has a cute little baby doll she rocks and kisses and puts in bed. Shes in training ;-) So here is picture #1 of the pregnancy pooch!! Hope I don't scare anyone!!

o0o Easter o0o

We had a beautiful Easter weekend even though it was a little warm! We got to spend a lot of time with our familes (both sides). Ryleigh really enjoyed her first Easter egg hunt and ate way to much candy! She looked very cute in the pink dress Ben picked out. I am so happy that he has a taste so similar to mine! I can trust him with things like that! I am so lucky to have such a big family and am very thankful for that. I love the spirit of Easter and the beautiful lessons given around that time. I was pretty impressed that my 5 and 6 year old cousins were talking about how they were happy Jesus was resurected so we could have Easter. That made me smile! Oh and ps. we had a moonbounce at the Adair party! It was amazing and The Incredibles theme! I love my family! I wish that my sister and brother-in-laws were all closer so I could see them to! PS. Thanks to the James Molina girls I am now part of the national Mexican horse shoe team. :-)My beautiful girl before the big parties! I love her curly hairs!Trying to be a big girl and put the eggs in the basket by herself... slow but steady!

On another note I am feeling pretty good. I seem to be getting over the initial morning sickness phase and now I just feel tired and lazy. I am 13 weeks now and I am starting to have a little bump of which I am very proud! I will post pictures of my belly along the way for those of you who are far away and will miss the joy that is fat Brittany. Luvies!

Nikolaus family carwash!

Ben decided to give precious (our cute little automobile) a bath and Ryleigh decided she wanted to help! Then she decided she wanted to wash everything else in the garage! She is getting so big its scary! Just look at her beautiful smile and try not to laugh!!

Ryleigh will be 18 months on Ben's birthday, which is on the 26th. Thats only like 2 weeks away. My little baby girl is so old!

10 weeks and counting!

So if you haven't already heard...Im going to be a mommy! AGAIN! We are so happy!! I couldn't be more thrilled. The only thing is that the baby is due on Ryleighs Birthday!! So we shall see what happens with that! People tend to ask what I want, I tend to say a boy but the more I think about it the more I want Ryleigh to have a sister like I did. We are best friends and that is something that I would never deny anyone! I love you sisser. We don't have names yet because we don't really agree on that subject very well. We will wait till we know the sex before starting that argument! It was so fun telling both sets of parents. I am so glad I have such a creative sister because I definitely stink at coming up with ideas. Anyways we wrote "I am going to be a big sister!" on Ryleigh's tummy and then we said "Ryleigh where is your button?" And she lifts up her shirt to show you! It was very very cute! We couldn't be more thrilled about this, its a little scary but Ryleigh was scary too and she is the joy and sunshine in our lives!! I love you all and Im counting on you guys to help me with names!! PS. Ben bought me the cutest jeans from buckle so I wouldn't feel to bad about looking like I had a big lunch for a while. Thats the worst phase when no one can tell your preggo but you definitely have a pooch!

I know I am really bad at this!!

Hey!

Okay I am sorry I am so bad at this. I would say I am to busy but everyone is right? Life has been exciting and hectic. I could not be happier! Right now Ben and I are just going to school and Ben is working hard as always. Ryleigh is getting way to big! Ben and I just had our 2nd anniversary! I can't believe it has been two years! It doesn't feel like it at all, it just gets better everyday and I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband. On another note I have a commercial playing right now! It is an SRP commercial and I am on towards the end, Im washing the cutest little puppy! I also just booked a commercial for Cable one! I will actually have lines this time!! It shoots on March 7th so wish me luck!

As most of you may know last week was a big week for me and Ben. It was My 20th birthday, then Valentines day and my anniversary! I got the cutest (red) ipod and Ben took me to a hotel for the night! We spent the night in the hot tub and watching movies. Then the next day we went to Sunrise and went snowboarding! We also went to my favorite resturaunt Bennihanna with Mal and Craig!! OKAY I CANT SPELL ThAT, but you get the point.

I am also in the young women right now and I love it! I am the 2nd counselour and the Beehive adviser. It is seriously the funnest calling I have ever had! I even get to go to girls camp!! YAY! Ben is in the young men now to! He is a priest advisor! Speaking of that I have mutual in like ten minutes so I have to go! There will be a very special post very soon so keep checking!!
