Holiday fun, and snow in Tempe :)

This weekend at Tempe town lake was the fantasy of lights boat parade. It was so much fun! They had Santa and 50 tons of real snow trucked in for the kids to play in. There were snow machines blowing making it feel so Christmasy! It was the perfect way to get into the spirit! Ryleigh had a blast and I just love her face when she sees Santa. It has been a while since I have posted so there are also some random pics from the past couple weeks. I just cant get enough of my girls!
My love, my life, my everything. I am so lucky. He always supports me and my crazy ideas.

I love this picture, she looks so happy to be playing in the snow with me!

My little Turkey!! and an amazing Thanksgiving!

I love Thanksgiving! Seriously whats not to love? You get to eat AMAZING food and UNBELIEVABLE deserts at any volume you wish and no one can (or does) say a word. You get to play games with your hilarious family and watch your kids run around on a sugar high with their cousins. Then you go home and take a very restful nap, wake up and decorate for Christmas!! Ryleigh was in rare form all day. She is always a funny kid but on Thanksgiving she was one of a kind. I could not stop laughing all day. Oh and ps look how cute Brytie looks in her pink boots!! I love playing dress up with her. Its kinda sad shes just like my little baby doll.

Below is the beautiful ladies of the family. Well between the ages of like 18-30ish. I loooove that I look like I don't even belong. Ryleigh could sit there for me...at least she looks like she should be there. :)
and the guys......
Here is an example of the hilariousness of my 2 year old. This is her attempt at the bunny ears!

My gorgeous hubby!
Cody Sue and Carterrrrr. I LOOOOVE THEM!

Me and Bryton. (ps i can't figure out why this sentence is underlined.......)

Decorating our Christmas tree! Its Ryleigh's year to add the star.
Me harassing Bryton with the camera flash. You can tell she loves it! I love making her mad because she never ever ever cries unless I am actually trying to make her. Poor little thing. She is the least fussy kid ever I think. I am obsessed :)

Bryton's baby blessing!

Bryton was blessed by her amazing father on November 9th. Thank you so much to everyone that came to share this special day with us! We are so blessed with family and friends. She looked so beautiful in her little white dress, (made by her Grandma Nola). It really felt like I was holding an angel. Honestly, does life get any better???

MASSUHCARRR!!! (Madagascar in Ryleigh language) :)

As I am sure all of you know, Madagascar 2 came out this Friday. Ryleigh is probably the biggest fan that Madagascar has and was soooooo excited every time the commercial came on. So on Friday Ben, Mal and I took her to see it. This was pretty much the first movie we have taken her to since she was old enough to understand. It was such a blast! The best part of it was watching Ryleigh watch the movie. She would squeal and laugh and yell at the characters like they could understand her. For example, "WATCH OUT ALETS (alex)!!!!!" or "YAY MONKEYS DANCING!!!!!!!"  For the rest of the night she walked around dancing and singing "moobit moobit, i likeA moobit moobit!" Ah I get such a kick out of her. If you ever need a smile look no further than my 2 year old. :) Here are some fun pictures from our movie night!

Mal and I were trying to get her to take a picture and she wouldn't look away from the screen!

 Big Smiles!

This is Ben and Bryton 10 minutes in....ahh the joys of newborns :)

GENERATIONS

One of the greatest blessings I have in my life is the blessing of my eternal family. I have been so lucky to have so much family so involved in my life. I am so blessed to have my great grandparents still alive and well as well as Grandparents who love me and take such good care of me and my family. There is nothing greater in this mortal world. Below is a picture from Mallory's baby shower. It is a 5 generation photo. In the picture is my Great-Grandmother Pearl, Grandmother Yvonne, My Mother Lisa, Me, My sister Mallory, And my 2 daughters Ryleigh and Bryton. Below that is a picture of Ben's side. There are 4 generations still with us. Pictured is Grandma Law, Ben's mom Nola, Ben, and Bryton. We are so blessed to have each other and I thank God daily for all the family that I have here on earth with me. I know that not many people are that lucky. I do know that one day we will all be together again and that is the greatest peace I have ever found.

Introducing Bryton Brooks Nikolaus!

She is finally here! Sorry it has taken so long to post but recovering from surgery and taking care of a newborn takes a lot out of you! She is absolutely perfect! Weighing 6 lbs 11 oz and is 19 inches long. She has dark brown hair like her momma and almond shaped eyes like her daddy! Ryleigh cant get enough of her and loves playing mommy! Ry has been so good with her and with sharing the attention. She calls her "baby sisser Bwyton" We are so blessed! We named her Bryton Brooks after my uncle, my mom and I. Here are some pictures from the hospital. Beware one is pretty graphic from the actual surgery. I will post that one last! Its graphic but really cool. :-)
