Ryleighs Birthday Party!

Happy 2nd birthday Ryleigh!! I know this post is late but there has been a lot going on! Ryleigh we love you so much more than we could ever explain. You are so smart for such a little girl. I have never met someone with such a strong desire to observe and learn. Your sweet smile and angelic disposition make you the sunshine of our lives. You are such a great big sister and we know how much you love your family. Happy birthday sweet girl and we hope you get all you wish for! I don't know what we have done so right to deserve such an angel. You are truly a wonder and have the most amazing spirit. We love you so much.

These are pictures from her birthday dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Niks. She loved her cupcakes! Thank you for the wonderful gifts! She loves her Dora book and her super cuddly monkey! 

FYI- her birthday party will be this saturday the 11th at Peter Piper Pizza on Gilbert and Baseline at 1pm. We would LOVE for everyone to be there! Please let me or Mallory know if you can make it. We really miss seeing everyone and hope you can make it! Also for those of you who haven't yet this will be a great opportunity to come meet Bryton! 

Introducing Bryton Brooks Nikolaus!

She is finally here! Sorry it has taken so long to post but recovering from surgery and taking care of a newborn takes a lot out of you! She is absolutely perfect! Weighing 6 lbs 11 oz and is 19 inches long. She has dark brown hair like her momma and almond shaped eyes like her daddy! Ryleigh cant get enough of her and loves playing mommy! Ry has been so good with her and with sharing the attention. She calls her "baby sisser Bwyton" We are so blessed! We named her Bryton Brooks after my uncle, my mom and I. Here are some pictures from the hospital. Beware one is pretty graphic from the actual surgery. I will post that one last! Its graphic but really cool. :-) 

38 weeks!

Here is a current belly picture on week 38! And thank you Jamielyn for the new hair! I hope to see you all at the hospital on September the 18th after 1:00pm or for the 3 days following!  Thats in 8 days! :-D

Help!!

Okay I am due to deliver in 16 days and I still don't have a name picked out!! I had some names at the beginning but I am over them now. The middle name will be after me and my mom so it will be Brooks. So anything that goes with that! Help help help ladies!!

We Love The Lake!

Yesterday, (yes on a random Thursday) Mal, Craig, Camille, Kyle, Ben and I headed out to good ol green saguaro lake. Since all three of us girls are preggos we basically lounged around in the boat working on our tans and drinking LOTS of water while the guys went wake boarding and tubing. It was such a blast and felt so good to float in the icy water when it is blazing outside! We had so much fun and can't wait to go again! 

The lovely mommies-to-be! Im due Sept 26th, Camille is due October the 1st I believe, and Mal on December 3rd!!

Happy 22nd birthday Mal! We had so much fun seeing everyone and celebrating your special day. I love you so much! I hope you like your purse/box/huge pink diamond!

28 weeks :-)

Wow this pregnancy is going by so fast! I can't believe I am already in the third trimester! Here is the latest preggo pic. I was 28 weeks!! Right now not much has changed from the last update. The babe is so super active; way more than Ryleigh was. She loves to kick me in the tummy right when I am about to fall asleep and wakes me up. I am getting so anxious! I just can't wait to hold her and kiss her little nose! 

Playtime before bedtime!

Ryleigh has turned into such a little fire ball! After her bath time her favorite thing to do is to play "jumping" on mom and dad's mattress. She has so much energy and is constantly making us laugh. We are so blessed with how polite and well behaved she is, unless its naptime ;-).  I don't know where she gets it but we are sure thankful!! Here are some super cute pictures of her latest playtime. WE LOVE OUR LITTLE MONKEY!
