ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS CONCERT!! Tempe Beach Park!

I know what you're thinking, didn't she just make a post saying she had surgery? Yup I certainly did. Well for Ben's birthday I bought him tickets to the Tempe Music Festival and I felt to bad to say I couldn't go so we went. We stopped at Tres Margaritas for dinner and it was YUMMY! So..... My grandmother lent me her rockin wheelchair which I pimped out for this rockin occasion. Please take notice of the 98 KUPD handkerchiefs .

I had bought these tickets months ago for Ben's birthday and I just couldn't pass up a Rejects/three doors down concert. It was such a blast and even though I was in a little pain it was so worth it, it has been a while since Ben and I have had a sleep over all alone.  

When we first got there we found this amazing little asian stand that gave massages.... apparently I REALLY enjoyed it. 

Ben thought this little mobile Circle K was hilarious so he snapped a picture of it. It was kind of cute. 

Im sorry but how adorable is my husband, he had the marquee display this before the concert started!!! He is so sneaky I had no idea!!! He is such an amazing man. I love you Babes.

I was dancing and singing so loud to all of the songs Ben started to get embarrassed. So instead of toning it down I did what any annoying wife would do and taped myself, and his reaction. Notice his disbelief. I love harassing him more than anything! Just look at his face!

   

Even though I am a bit sore this morning it was a night I will never forget!

surgery :-(

For those of you who don't know, I just had surgery today at 4 :-(  It was emergency thats why I didn't tell most of you. I was having SEVERE pelvic pain about three days ago and it just got worse and worse. Then I started having EXTREMELY sharp pains in my left ovary. Pain so bad that even  the Morphine they gave me in the ER didn't even take care of it. It turns out I had some pretty bad lesions and endometriosis attacking my ovaries, kidneys, and uterus. The lesions were actually cutting of blood supply and oxygen to my left ovary; hence the excruciating pain. Dr. Tutt did the surgery and I already feel lots better. If any of you women out there have had these types of problems or child birth then you can relate to the amount of pain I was in. I am going to be off my feet for a few days so if anyone is out and wants to bring me some ice cream or cookies they are more than welcome ;-) Thanks for the support and I hope I can get up soon and visit!

Earth Angel...

The Phoenix Zoo :)

Today Ryleigh Mae and I went to the Phoenix Zoo for a field trip with the baby sign language class. It was such a blast! The weather was perfect and the zoo wasn't crowded at all. Ryleigh absolutely loves animals and just couldn't get enough of the 

"monteys with the peent bums!" ie. Baboons. 

She is so smart to, she learned and remembered the signs for monkey, giraffe, fish, lion and elephant!

Oh yeah and at Sting Ray bay one of the big sting rays splashed her right in the face, yup the sweet sting ray decided to drench little Ry....she has the worst luck! At the Renisance fair last year an elephant reached through the fence and sucked on her face with his trunk! Apparently animals can't get enough of her either!

Quote of the week 1

I have decided to do something kind of corny/awesome. I have had some wonderful talks really hit home with me lately so I feel the need to share the lifts that they give me. For this week it was a talk about helping those who are less fortunate then yourselves. I guess I had been kind of feeling sorry for myself and have been a little down. Until on Sunday three of the speakers felt like they were talking straight to me. My favorite quote of the day was: 

"No one has made a greater mistake than he who has done nothing because he can only do a little."

I was kind of feeling "like well what could I possibly do for anyone right now." Then I realized that it doesn't have to be some big gesture of money or goods that someone is in real need of. This week I was shown an exact situation where someone was in need of something that really only I could offer. It was a great feeling and it took such little time or effort on my part but I know it had an impact on someone else, For their privacy I don't need to go into any detail but if there is anyone out there reading this, just know that I have a testimony and I am NOT afraid to use it ;-) 

SHE SPEAKS!!!!!

I can't believe it! My baby is so big! I can't believe how fast she has been growing. She is six months today and decided to grace us with her first words. And they are drum roll please...........................DA-DA! Surprise surprise.. Ryleighs were why shouldn't her sister's be. These aren't the words of jealous Mom, no not at all. She won't stop saying it!! DA DA DA DA DA DA is more like it. Im so happy! Its the most precious sound! Here is a video taken like 3 minutes ago!!! I just can't get enough! 

No I don't actually give her a big girl cup, she just crawls around and finds Ryleighs'!

 experiences in my lifetime already and am so happy to have the capacity to remember them!

7. I love Mormons! hehe cheeeeeesey! (but I do!)

8. I love Mesa! Well, I love mesa because I grew up here and I have so many family and friends here. Also Mesa/Lehi smells AMAZING this time of year...its the orange blossoms just beginning to grow....absolutely delicious.

 Which brings me to my next one....

9. I love March! Its just beginning to warm up so its not to hot but not freezing. March in Arizona is gorgeous!

10. I love the Melchizedek priesthood! I am so blessed to have an eternal family and the blessings that come from Ben being worthy to hold this great priesthood.
